Credit and Debit Cards
Overgov accepts eligible payment cards through our secure payment processing system.
Supported card networks include:
- American Express
- Diners Club
- Discover
- MasterCard
- Visa
When paying by card, customers may be required to provide information such as the card number, expiration date, security code, billing address, and other information necessary to authorize the transaction.
Card payments may be subject to additional security verification by the card issuer or payment processor.
Overgov does not require customers to provide payment information through email, telephone, or other unsecured communication channels.
PayPal
PayPal provides a secure and convenient way to complete purchases without directly entering complete payment information on our website.
When PayPal is selected at checkout, customers may be redirected to PayPal to sign in and authorize the transaction. After successful authorization, the customer may be returned to the Overgov website to complete the checkout process and receive an order confirmation.
PayPal transactions are subject to PayPal's applicable terms, conditions, security procedures, and authorization requirements.
Venmo
Overgov accepts Venmo when the option is available during checkout.
When Venmo is selected, customers may be asked to authorize the transaction through their Venmo account or supported Venmo payment experience.
Venmo availability may depend on factors such as the customer's location, device, browser, account eligibility, and transaction conditions.
Apple Pay
Overgov supports Apple Pay when the payment option is available at checkout.
Apple Pay allows eligible customers to complete purchases using a supported Apple device and an eligible payment card configured within Apple Pay.
Payment authorization is completed through Apple's secure payment technology and the customer's participating card issuer.
Apple Pay availability may depend on the customer's device, browser, region, payment card, and account eligibility.
Google Pay
Overgov accepts Google Pay when available during checkout.
Google Pay allows eligible customers to use a supported payment card or other eligible payment method saved to their Google account.
When Google Pay is selected, the customer may be required to authenticate the transaction through their device, browser, or Google account before payment can be completed.
Availability is subject to Google's requirements, supported devices, participating financial institutions, and transaction eligibility.
Shop Pay
Overgov supports Shop Pay when available during checkout.
Shop Pay may allow eligible customers to securely save and use their checkout information for faster purchases.
Customers using Shop Pay may be asked to complete an authentication or verification step before an order can be submitted.
Shop Pay availability and functionality may vary depending on account status, device, browser, location, and other eligibility requirements.
Payment Authorization
All payments are subject to authorization and security verification.
A payment may require additional verification by the applicable payment provider, card issuer, bank, or payment processor.
If a payment cannot be successfully authorized, Overgov may be unable to complete the order.
An order may be:
- Delayed
- Placed on hold
- Requiring additional verification
- Declined
- Canceled
Overgov reserves the right to decline or cancel an order when payment authorization or security verification cannot be successfully completed.
Payment Security
Protecting customer payment information is important to Overgov.
Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers and payment processing systems that use commercially reasonable security measures and industry-standard technologies designed to protect transaction information.
Overgov does not store complete payment card credentials on its servers.
Customers should also take reasonable precautions to protect their own payment accounts, passwords, authentication codes, and other security information.
Overgov will not request complete payment credentials through unsecured email communication.
Payment Currency
All prices displayed on the Overgov website are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.
If a customer's bank, card issuer, or payment provider uses a different currency, the applicable provider may convert the transaction into the customer's local currency.
Any exchange rate, foreign transaction fee, currency conversion fee, or similar charge imposed by a bank or payment provider is the responsibility of the customer and is not controlled by Overgov.
Failed or Declined Payments
A payment may be declined or unsuccessful for various reasons, including but not limited to:
- Insufficient funds or available credit
- Incorrect payment information
- Incorrect billing information
- Expired payment card
- Security verification failure
- Bank or card issuer restrictions
- Payment provider restrictions
- Transaction limits
- Account eligibility requirements
- Temporary technical issues
If your payment is declined, please verify that your payment information is accurate and contact your bank, card issuer, or payment provider if necessary.
Customers may also attempt to use another payment method displayed as available during checkout.
Order Confirmation
Once payment has been successfully authorized and the order has been submitted, customers will receive an order confirmation email.
The confirmation may include:
- Order number
- Purchased products
- Order subtotal
- Shipping charges
- Applicable taxes
- Total amount
- Shipping information
- Payment confirmation
If you do not receive an order confirmation email, please check your spam, junk, promotions, or other filtered folders before contacting Overgov Customer Support.
Payment Processing and Order Fulfillment
Successful payment authorization does not necessarily mean that an order cannot be subject to further verification.
Orders may be reviewed for payment authorization, fraud prevention, billing information, shipping information, or other legitimate transaction-security purposes.
Overgov may contact customers if additional information is reasonably required to verify an order.
Order processing and fulfillment will proceed after the applicable payment and verification requirements have been satisfied.
Refunds
Approved refunds are generally issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
For example, when an eligible order was originally paid using a credit or debit card, the applicable refund will normally be returned to that card. Payments completed through supported digital payment services may be refunded through the applicable payment service or original payment method, subject to the provider's processing procedures.
Refund eligibility and processing are governed by Overgov's applicable Return & Refund Policy.
Once Overgov has processed an approved refund, the customer's bank, card issuer, or payment provider may require additional processing time before the funds appear in the customer's account.
Payment Method Availability
Although Overgov supports the payment methods listed in this policy, not every payment method will necessarily appear for every transaction.
Availability may depend on:
- Customer location
- Device
- Browser
- Payment account eligibility
- Card type
- Card issuer
- Transaction amount
- Billing information
- Shipping destination
- Payment provider requirements
- Security or authorization requirements
The payment methods actually displayed on the checkout page are the payment methods available for that specific transaction.
Changes to Payment Methods
Overgov may add, remove, or modify available payment methods as our payment processing arrangements and business operations change.
If payment methods are changed, this policy may be updated accordingly.
The latest version of this Payment Methods Policy will be published on the Overgov website and will include the applicable updated Effective Date.
